Kayaking and Quading

Kayak

When you you are kayaking here is how to do it. Always use a life vest, even if your a good swimmer.  You also need a whistle so you can use it if you get into trouble. If you want to turn with  your paddles you can turn right to go left in turn left to go right. If you want to turn left really sharp you can hold your paddle on the right side just keep it in the water and you will do a short turn. If you want to do another sharp turn on the left, you hold your paddle on the right side of the kayak in the water. If  you want to go backwards Right, you push your kayak forward instead of backwards. If you want to go backwards right, you push forward left. If you get a kayak always checks the weight limit. If you  want to have two people on it then you have to check another person’s weight to see if there is enough room for both people. If they do not fit in the seat with you then make them sit behind you in the back and they can hold on to the straps. If you want to go on a long trip and you don’t want to get hungry or thirsty you could put your stuff in the back of the compartment under the straps. I recommend You put them in a baggie so they do not get wet.  Once you get good enough you can go on longer trips. Yyou can also ride against the current when you are good enough.

Quad

The first step to riding a quad is always have a helmet with goggles on. When you are starting a quad,  take your keys and turn them in the ignition. Also turn the kill switch up and then put the choke up, and turn the gas on (fun fact my quad holds about 4 days of gas).  Once  you havse done all that you can do brakes or foot brakes it does not matter. Then you pres and hold the power button and then when it is on you have to let it warm up for about 2 minutes. When it is done warming up, turn the choke down and start riding.  If you are turning left lean

right so it does not roll on you.  Go a safe speed  at start, and then once you get comfortable you can go a little faster. When there are bumps , stand up so it is less bumpy. If you want  gloves then you can use them, those are optional but they do help your hands.

I love kayaking and quading because they’re both a lot of fun because they can be calm and crazy! Do you like to quad or kayak? Are there any parts I missed, comment down below please!
